MORRISON: On a racetrack, I would not be surprised to find this Nismotuned setup nets faster lap times. On the street, I was surprised to find that the car is more comfortable than previous, or non-Nismo, versions. The suspension did not seem any harsher than I’m used to in other Z cars, and the overall ride was better in my view. The uncontrolled body motions that plagued earlier cars appear to be gone; there’s no more “porpoising” over imperfect pavement.There is definitely more grip—thank the suspension, the tires and the reduced unsprung mass with the lighter wheels.Where the non-Nismo car wags its tail readily,...
